Wireframes and time
I went to an interesting event last night. A skillswap event, entitled Wireframing in a Web 2.0 World. I will admit I was absolutely wiped out and barely coherent, so I was not at my most receptive, but still worth going along.
Rather than static wireframes as I know them, it was all about using some really basic HTML, CSS and Javascript (JQuery) to knock together some stuff to prototype a user interface and the basic interactions. It's really relevant to what I'm doing at work at the moment (I know, I never talk about work, it says so in my about blurb.
Woohoo!
Ah, the problems of being all excited and not being able to share. Too early. Too much to go wrong yet...
Still, I'm all excited. Maybe I've just had too much caffeine. Sometimes it's hard to tell.
Wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!
(I wll tell. Eventually. I promise.)
(Sorry.)
It seemed like a good idea
I've been out for the last three nights. Ok, so knit night in the middle wasn't exactly racy, but still, that's a big week for me.
Last night I had a packet of crisps for dinner, three pints of shandy and a pint of lager, and spent the evening gossiping and losing track of time. To the extent that when the bouncer came to ask us to leave at midnight it was a shock.
And the prize...
Oh come on, you knew there must be one. Why else would I be writing an essay due on Monday on a Saturday?!
Yesterday morning my gorgeous and wonderful girlfriend surprised me with a trip to the Brighton Earthship up in Stanmer Park. It was another glorious (if slightly chilly) morning, and it was lovely. It's great to see it and get inside. I think it needs a bit of work still. But it looked stunning, and it would be an interesting home.
Send help...
Today is glorious again.
And I am trying to write 1000 words on interdisciplinarity.
And I don't care even a little bit about interdisciplinarity.
And I want to be outside. By the sea maybe. With my bike.
Anyone wanna write an essay for me?
(Yeah, yeah, plaguerism. Whatever. Today I just don't care...)
