Oh I see...

My Ravelry invite just arrived. I'm a little late to several parties apparently. Now I get it...

Just in time to help me pick a pattern for my Gorgeous Girlfriend's new niece or nephew, due any week now.

Dangerous

Ugh. I'm exhausted.

We just spent a day and a half in a project workshop (I know, it says in the About box I don't talk about work... Don't worry, it's not going to be much) and then I had to leg it across Brighton to uni and run round there soldering phidgetty bits (buttons... Mmmm...) and going to seminars and generally thinking.

It's tiring stuff, thinking. I'm not sure I recommend it.

Next week is another, more low-level, detailed planning 3-day marathon session.Bring it on. After a good long sleep...

Fingers and toes cramped

And crossed every which way. Today is my gorgeous girlfriend's first day at her new job, and she was nervous as hell this morning.

Rough seas

I managed to get out and about on Sunday. Well, more accurately, I had to return a pair of trousers I bought that didn't fit. So I headed into Brighton on the bus.

It was bitterly cold, and started hailing just a little bit while I was waiting for the bus to arrive, so I was particularly glad of my lovely new sleeping bag coat. I was totally cozy. The weather got worse as I got into Brighton, and when I'd successfully negotiated returning the trousers without buying anything else (not easy) I thought I'd take a bit of a gander at the sea. Have to be some perks to living close to it, after all.
